Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree : Often in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications can significantly boost your profile. Common ones include:
• CompTIA Network+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Technical Skills

• Networking Fundamentals : Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Hardware Knowledge : Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
• Operating Systems : Proficiency in various operating systems, especially Windows and Linux.
• Network Security : Knowledge of network security practices, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Troubleshooting : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Scripting/Programming : Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.) can be beneficial for automation and troubleshooting tasks.

Experience

Job Duties

• Network Maintenance : Regular monitoring and maintenance of networks to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving network problems, both hardware and software.
• Installation : Setting up and configuring network hardware and software.
• Security : Implementing and maintaining network security measures.
• Documentation : Keeping detailed records of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
• User Support : Providing technical support to users experiencing network issues.

Additional Requirements

• Availability : Willingness to work in shifts, on-call, or during off-hours for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and installing hardware, if required.

Job Type: Full-time
