Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge Networking technologies best practices, firewalls, routing and switching, Wi-Fi, and cloud networks(AWS and Azure).
• Provide support for the network infrastructure which includes Palo Alto, Cisco, Dell and Meraki.
• Assist with secure network design for systems we manage(internal and customer) or integrate with, and then be hands on with implementation and support.
• Assist with the Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all physical and virtual networking devices
• Assist with project implementations and more complex BAU activities
• Provide networking support across the business and to external customers.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructures, including performing regularly scheduled and emergency maintenance.
• Security related activities, system hardening, patching, vulnerability threat management and mitigation.
• Engage in detailed planning, change control and thorough testing to ensure security availability, performance, and stability of our network.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, network design and data security within an enterprise environment.
• Experience with current network architecture best practices
• Excellent networking skills with experience of managing enterprise network environments, including firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Strong experience with cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premise networking technologies
• Core Firewall Management experience(Palo Alto, Cisco) including policy updates and device redundancy fundamentals.
• Industry Network and Security Certifications(AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP, CCNA, CCIE or equivalent)
