• Undergraduate degree and 5+ years relevant network troubleshooting experience in an enterprise environment experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Advanced knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of security issues and implications to network solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of ACI
• Extensive knowledge on the following platforms.

• Cisco Routers and switches
• Cisco Nexus
• CCNA certification is a must
• CCNP certification or superior desired
• Experience working in IT Outsourcing and Managed Services organization

Candidates must be able to carry out complex network support duties including:

• Project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of datacenter networks
• Participates in or leads complex Data Center (network, storage and compute) design/implementation and migration, performance engineering or problem resolution projects
• Responsible for complex testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities.
• Configuration, optimization of Cisco NX-OS and ACI 7K/9K based Datacenter
• Design, analyze and advise on solutions to improve service availability and reliability
• Consistently provides guidance and project direction to less-experienced staff.
• Interact with customer teams, internal infrastructure teams, , vendors, outsourcers and contractors to successfully implement data network solutions
• Creates technical deliverables including network assessments, capacity planning, design documents, configurations, change orders, knowledge transfers to Steady State
• Delivers migration plans, with a thorough understanding on networked applications and related dependencies.
• Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers and/or relevant managers
• Provide technical guidance to project managers and lead architecture and hardware discussions with vendors.
• Participate in the preparation of proposals and Statements of Work. Establish trusted advisor relationship with customer management and teams on Data Center Infrastructure areas and future technology trends
• Guide other consultants and engineers, resolving challenges and ensuring customer success.
• Automation of networks (Ansible, Python) to reduce the need for manual, repetitive and error prone changes
• Advise on security issues and implications to network solutions
• Overcome obstacles and drive work efforts to successful completion, achieving the intended result without any adverse impact to the production environment
