However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Your responsibilities Customer specification study, collecting and understanding the project requirements, designing the network topology / architecture according to the project requirements. Process security patches released by various vendors & support Patch Management Activity in ICS Environment. Perform patch testing, Patch validation and patch distribution for our Industrial Control System customers. Create a new minimized setup of ICS in Virtual Environment to perform Patch testing and Patch validation by running specific functionality test. Replicate the Site/Project issue within Lab Environment and identify the root cause and submit RCA Report to fix permanently. Support other testing teams in order to setup the actual testing Environment which includes activity like System Imaging/System backup/ Network connectivity / Switch configuration, Windows server configuration with Domain/AD etc. Strong problem solving and investigation skills in analyzing the test environment and commissioning networking issues. Perform security product evaluation with respect to latest technologies. Maintain Application Life Cycle management for patch Monitoring (Hardware\'s / Softwares / Servers and Workstations). Create automated script using. Bat/.Vbs/PowerShell/Perl and python to optimize the regular work and act efficiently in daily activities. Your background Networking - Concepts of OSI Model and TCP/IP Windows server Administration Handling Patch Management process for various vendors are added advantage. Experience with Packet crafting and Flooding tools Hands on Experience with protocols like HTTP,HTTPS,SSL,SSH,ICMP,DHCP,L2TP,PPTP,DNS,SNMP,RDP,NTP Sound knowledge on Log management Products like - Kiwi Syslog, solar winds log forwarder , Splunk Knowledge on ICS protocols like DNP/Modbus/IEC61850 and SCADA systems (optional) Understanding any of the below standards - NERC-CIP/ISO 27001 will be added advantage Hands on experience with Switches, Firewall and Routers configuration - Fortinet 80C, Fortigate models,Westermo Redfox,DELL SONICWALL, Checkpoint, cisco PIX with High Availability (HA) functionality and configuring GPS clock Knowledge on Application servers and Databases (SQL server, MySQL)
