Full job description As an Networking Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining RJ45 network infrastructure for both residential and commercial clients. Your role will involve ensuring reliable and efficient network connectivity, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and providing excellent customer service. You will collaborate closely with the network design team, project managers, and clients to deliver seamless network solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Configuration: - Install and terminate RJ45 connectors and cables according to industry standards. - Set up network equipment, including switches, routers, and access points. - Configure network devices for optimal performance and security. - Test network connectivity and ensure proper data transmission. 2. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: - Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues promptly. - Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure network stability. - Identify and rectify cable faults, connection problems, and other network-related problems. - Update firmware and software as needed to maintain security and functionality. 3. Network Documentation: - Create accurate documentation of network configurations, cable layouts, and setup procedures. - Maintain records of equipment inventory and usage. 4. Customer Support: - Interact with clients to understand their network requirements and provide technical advice. - Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical clients. - Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the installed network. 5. Collaboration: - Coordinate with network designers and project managers to implement network plans effectively. - Provide feedback and suggestions to improve network design and installation processes. - Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate networks with other systems if required. 6. Quality Control: - Follow industry best practices and quality standards in all installations. - Conduct post-installation testing to verify network performance and stability. 7. Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment and cables. - Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Job Type: Full-time Pay: 20,000.00 - 45,000.00 per month Benefits:
