HARDWARE AND NETWORK ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network and Hardware Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, and access points (APs). Priority will be given to candidates with CCNA certification.

Responsibilities

1. Access Point Configuration;

Configure and manage point-to-point and indoor access points.

Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues to ensure reliable network performance.

2. Fibre Networking :

Understand and work with ILU (In-Line Units), fibre modules, patch cords, and single-mode/multi-mode fibres.

Assist in the installation, termination, and testing of fibre optic cables.

3. VLAN Configuration:

Possess a solid understanding of passive networking components, including cabling, racks and patch panels.

Support the installation and maintenance of passive network elements.

4. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting;

Perform routine network maintenance and updates.

Diagnose and fix network problems, both hardware and software.

Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.

5. Documentation;

Maintain accurate records of network configurations and procedures

Document network issues and resolutions for future reference.

6. Hardware Management;

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to hardware components.

7. Security and VPN;

Configure and manage VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access.

Implement and maintain firewall rules and policies to safeguard network integrity.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

8. Wireless Networking;

Set up and maintain WLAN infrastructure, ensuring coverage and performance.

Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues and optimize configurations.

REQUIREMENTS:

CCNA Certified.

In-Office and On-Site Support.

Personal Vehicle is compulsory.

Immediate Joiners will be preferred.

Experience 1 to 2 years.
