The role requires individual to design, develop, and maintain high quality software. This software\xe2\x80\x99s will be used / developed for other engineering/operations teams. Individual should also own/drive business requirement sessions, document the requirement, and design, develop, and deploy the solution with minimal intervention and guidance. This role is geared towards a technical developer, who have strong exposure and experience in software development, scripting, and program practices etc. Individual should own other stages of development including testing, code review, and quality, deployment, and maintenance. The developer will be a part of the Digital Workplace Engineering team responsible for providing engineering aspects of digital workplace solutions. An individual should be able to use the latest and greatest development practices while adhering to company development standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop/maintain software using C#.Net, and VB.Net as a primary skill set
• Should be able to develop scripts using power shell
• Work with vendors and internal technology teams on developing/maintaining applications around OS programming and interfacing. Windows applications using WinForms or WPF, Windows console applications, services, etc. And interfacing with backend infrastructure (on-prem/cloud/etc.) like Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, Azure, Intune, MSSQL, etc., and SQL programming
• Focus on strong product & support documentation and design training plans
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple requests without losing sight of overall business objectives and delivery requirements

• 8 to 10 years of relevant software programming/development experience using C# .Net.
• Knowledge of .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET, ASP.net) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity and experience in implementing WinForms, WPF, XAML UI framework, Entity Framework/ADO.net
• Should be good with PowerShell scripting to develop self-healing scripts/automation.
• Knowledge in data interchange formats- XML, JSON, AJAX. etc.
• SQL Server and design/architectural patterns - e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC), etc.
• Inter-process communication using named pipes, windows messages, etc.

• Experience in other programming languages - e.g., PowerShell, VBScript, JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs
• Developing web applications and Windows applications
• Creating Windows services
• Read/write attributes of active directory objects
• Creating/hosting web services
• Microsoft SQL server like a design database schema, create/update/interact with stored procedures, database optimization
• Experience in Python Programming is a plus.
• Good understanding of Linux environment.
• Good understanding of OOPS the concept.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
