The Hans Foundation, established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions. THF undertakes direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing funding support to not-for-profit organizations in India through its donor - RIST, USA. THF's Strategic planning focuses on key areas of its work with the aim of addressing the key issues of poverty alleviation, economic inequalities, and 360 impact on the quality of life through social development programs. Project: Hans Renal Care Centre - Punjab
Reporting: Project Manager/Programme Manager Key Responsibilities: ? Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment: • Diagnose and treat kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, and renal hypertension.
• Prescribe and manage medication and other treatment plans.
• Develop individualized care plans for patients with complex kidney disorders.
• Monitor and manage dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease.
Patient Consultation: • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood and urine samples.
• Educate patients about kidney health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Dialysis Oversight: • Supervise and oversee dialysis procedures.
• Collaborate with dialysis nurses and technicians to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Collaboration: • Consult with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and radiologists.
• Provide expert advice to other physicians in complex cases related to kidney disease.
