As a part-time Nephrologist at Medinetix Healthcare Private Limited, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and conditions affecting the kidneys. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care for patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and kidney failure, as well as those requiring dialysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultation and Diagnosis:
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients with kidney-related health concerns.
• Diagnose kidney diseases such as chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, and other disorders.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, urinalysis, and imaging studies, to evaluate kidney function.
• Treatment Planning and Management:
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions.
• Prescribe medications, recommend lifestyle changes, and monitor the progress of treatments.
• Manage patients requiring dialysis, ensuring proper procedures and protocols are followed.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams:
• Work closely with other specialists, such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, and general physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Refer patients for kidney transplants or advanced treatments if necessary.
• Patient Education and Counseling:
• Educate patients on managing kidney disease, emphasizing the importance of diet, fluid management, and medication adherence.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding treatment options and long-term kidney health.
• Follow-Up and Monitoring:
• Regularly monitor patients' kidney function and adjust treatments as necessary based on their health progress.
• Ensure timely follow-ups for chronic kidney disease patients and those undergoing dialysis.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with specialization in Nephrology (DM/DNB Nephrology) from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid Medical Council registration and license to practice.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in Nephrology.
• Expertise in diagnosing and treating various kidney disorders.
• Experience in managing patients on dialysis and knowledge of transplant procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule.
