Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical care to newborns, including premature and critically ill infants.

2. Conduct deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.

3. Evaluate and manage newborns with various medical conditions, including respiratory distress, cardiac issues, and infections.

4. Develop and implement treatment plans for newborns, including medication management and other interventions.

5. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for newborns.

6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

7. Educate medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals on neonatal care.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in neonatal medicine through ongoing education and research.

Requirements

:

1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

2. Completion of a pediatric residency program and a neonatology fellowship program.

3. Board certification in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.

4. Current medical license to practice in [state/region].

5. Excellent clinical and communication skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
