Your role will be to provide legal services with respect to the financial products transactions undertaken by the Deutsche Bank Group globally by working on fund addition documentation with fund managers.
You will spend a significant amount of your time drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and producing documents, relating to these fund additions and your role will involve you liaising directly with the front office and the Deutsche Bank Groups diverse client base. You would have to ensure high quality of drafts and negotiations, identify the gaps and bridge the gaps with training, innovative and out-of-box thinking.

Your key responsibilitiesA role has arisen for a negotiator/lawyer to help Deutsche Banks Global Documentation Team with:
Reviewing the terms of existing umbrella master agreements and capturing existing terms;
Advising on upgrades that may need to be made to existing umbrella master agreements to incorporate new underlying principals;
Drafting relevant amendments to such agreements as required;
Conducting diligence on new underlying principals to assess capacity/authority and applicability of netting;
Helping develop processes to facilitate the efficient addition of underlying principals to umbrella master agreements;
Coordinating with key internal stakeholders to ensure relevant approvals are provided.
The role will involve drafting documentation, negotiating with counterparties, and advising with respect to master agreement-related issues and netting.Your skills and experience
Having experience of financial products or commercial contracts drafting and negotiations.(Previous derivatives or general corporate legal experience gained in a law firm or in-house will be an advantage.)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent legal drafting ability and eye for detail.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem solving and / or analytical skills with solution based approach
Ability to forge strong relationship with internal departments.
Ability to read complex legal documents with confidence, ease and understanding.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an excellent team player.
Education/ Qualifications
Law Degree or Commonwealth qualified solicitor or barrister with 2 - 5 years of PQE.
