L&T Special Steels & Heavy Forgings (LTSSHF) is a joint venture between Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).
L&T Special Steels & Heavy Forgings (LTSSHF) caters to specialized requirements of Nuclear, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, Ship Building and Heavy Engineering Industries.
1) Experience in NDT - should be qualified in ASNT level III in - UT,MT,PT,VT
2) Experience in quality control
3) Good knowledge of defects in steel manufacture
3) Knowledge of ASME codes, DIN, other NDT international/national standards
4) Basic knowledge of fabrication/manufacture
5) Knowledge of mechanical testing, metallography & chemical testing in steel industry
5) Quality awareness - ISO, NABL, customer specifications like NPCIL, BARC, etc.
6) Strong Oral & written communication in english
7) Good Customer/TPI interaction
8) Knowledge of computer - ms word,excel,ppt
9) Should be able to lead a team of NDEs
10) Knowledge of metallurgy
11) Awareness of costing & business trends
12) Should be able to visualize big picture
