You will work with amazing and diverse colleagues with a deep sense of commitment to live Our Values and together, go all the way for our customers, society and for each other.Key responsibilities:As a NAVCOM (Navigation and Communication) Superintendent, you will play a role in:Providing technical support to vessels and shore teams on Navigation and Communication equipment related queries and issuesImproving equipment reliability and maintaining cost leadershipAssisting in monitoring vessel compliance with flag and class requirements related to navcom equipmentManaging repairs and modifications within time and budgetContributing proactively to operational reliability and sharing valuable lessons learned into vessel operations, equipment design and new building specificationsManaging lifecycle of navcom equipment in an optimal wayEvaluating and supporting vendors and key suppliers together with colleagues from procurement and supply chain teams.Wexe2x80x99re looking for person with:Good experience and knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipmentPassion for engineering and ability to provide high quality technical support to vessels and shore teamsProblem-solving flair combined with natural initiative and curiosityThe ability to thrive with a variety of tasks and understand the big picture, even when things get busyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills xe2x80x93 essential for collaborating with colleagues and vessel crewExceptional planning and structuring of work.Qualifications required:Minimum 8-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in marine navigation and communicationBachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunication.An experience in OT networking and cybersecurity controls will be good.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
