* National Manager - Credit Cards - RBL Cobrand - Growth
Job Purpose
Drive BFLs credit card business in collaboration with RBL bank by leveraging BFL ecosystem to identify customer acquisition expansion opportunities, designing customer friendly product offerings, driving effective portfolio management and AUR to deliver risk optimal high profit business model
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities - 1. Credit card business planning and implementation \xef\x82\xa7 Recommend strategy & business models and validate their feasibility before implementation to ensure effective management of existing credit card business in partnership with RBL bank \xef\x82\xa7 Identify opportunities create and implement growth and profitability plans to acquire new business and increase the scale and penetration of credit card business in overall portfolio of both BFL and RBL \xef\x82\xa7 Identify critical priority areas/ customer segments to target/ product features to be added in discussion with RBL stakeholders to ensure credit card business grows profitably \xef\x82\xa7 Participate in design phase & provide approval (as a part of committee with RBL) for product changes/contests/ programs to be run to ensure acquisition of genuine customers who contribute to profitability of business 2. Capability building \xef\x82\xa7 Identify process/ operational improvements and drive technological developments to ensure appropriate infrastructure is available for driving business growth \xef\x82\xa7 Review processes/ operations in both BFL and RBL credit card business identify any business risk involved and drive solutioning for them to ensure smooth conduct of business \xef\x82\xa7 Identify engagement and development initiatives for the sales force to increase skillset productivity and reduce attrition 3. Relationship management \xef\x82\xa7 Engage with RBL stakeholders on an ongoing basis to discuss new business opportunities share performance seek changes in products/processes to increase new as well as cross-sell business \xef\x82\xa7 Maintain relationship with other partners (such as policy bazaar etc.) to generate leads and promote offers which may increase usage of cards \xef\x82\xa7 Conduct discussions with other functions/ departments in BFL to discuss business leads and cross sell opportunities \xef\x82\xa7 Engage with various other internal stakeholders including IT operations and products team to drive process/ system improvements 4. Functional review \xef\x82\xa7 Review business performance against defined targets regularly and resolve challenges faced by both team and RBL team to ensure meeting targets \xef\x82\xa7 Design action plans to course correct in case of deviations in achieved targets against planned targets \xef\x82\xa7 Discuss performance of tele binding team with TCS partners and collectively resolve challenges faced if any \xef\x82\xa7 Discuss and present various business decisions and provide justification/ rational in monthly steering committee meeting (participation of role business head of RBL credit card roles superior) 5. Portfolio Management \xef\x82\xa7 Drive optimal risk strategies both for pre and post acq in collaboration with Risk function to deliver high profitability \xef\x82\xa7 6. Ensure Effective AUR strategy formulation and execution in collaboration with RBL and BFL stakeholders for superior engagement and profitability \xef\x82\xa7 Participate in recruitment process to identify right talent for various positions in the department

* Major Challenges - \xef\x82\xa7 Create innovative ways to source new customers in a cost effective way \xef\x82\xa7 Retain and engage employees at current salaries and reduce attrition \xef\x82\xa7 Create direct reach to the customer for sales force despite insufficient distribution channels and knowledge within BFL \xef\x82\xa7 Manage customer service standards basis the need of BFL customer profile requirement which is different from RBL customer profile
* Key Decisions / Dimensions - Following decisions are taken by the role: \xef\x82\xa7 Identify and implement process improvements for tele calling alternate channels \xef\x82\xa7 Manpower related decisions \xef\x82\xa7 Product development decisions \xef\x82\xa7 Risk related decision for both pre acq and post acq \xef\x82\xa7 AUR related decisions in collaboration with partner Decisions entailing large business/ financial impact collectively taken with supervisor
Required Qualifications and Experience
* a) Qualifications \xef\x82\xa7 MBA in Marketing/ Finance b) Work Experience \xef\x82\xa7 15+ years of work experience, with 3+ years in team management role in team of 100+ \xef\x82\xa7 Considerable experience in credit card business \xef\x82\xa7 Exposure to diverse verticals including risk, collections, sales, finance, technology and products \xef\x82\xa7 Exposure to having managed large business relationships
