Job Title: NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) Operation Manager

Job Summary:
The NAPS and NATS Operation Manager will be responsible for managing, executing, and coordinating apprenticeship programs under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This role will focus on ensuring the effective implementation of these programs in line with government regulations and company objectives, while building strong relationships with stakeholders including educational institutions, trainees, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Implementation and Management:
• Oversee and ensure smooth execution of NAPS and NATS schemes across all operational areas.
• Design and implement processes to ensure the successful enrolment of apprentices.
• Liaise with government bodies, industry partners, and academic institutions to promote the programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations related to NAPS and NATS.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with training providers, educational institutions, employers, and other key stakeholders.
• Work closely with industry partners to create apprenticeship opportunities for trainees.
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns for the promotion of NAPS and NATS.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track and monitor apprenticeship programs, including progress, participation, and completion.
• Prepare periodic reports on program performance and suggest improvements.
• Analyze data to improve the operational efficiency of NAPS and NATS schemes.
• Financial Management:
• Manage budgets and ensure timely disbursement of funds for program activities.
• Coordinate with financial institutions to facilitate micro-finance support for trainees.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a team responsible for the daily operations of NAPS and NATS.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to team members to optimize performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in skill development, vocational training, or apprenticeship program management.
• Prior experience in handling government-funded schemes like NAPS and NATS is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of NAPS and NATS guidelines, regulations, and processes.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management software.
