Job Description
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Bangalore
Technical Skills:
Install, configure, optimize, and maintain the performance of database servers..
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, restore, recovery, migration, etc.
Experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) and replication configuration in MySQL/MariaDB.
Experience around: Proxy (e.g ProxySQL/MaxScale), failover (MHA, Orchestrator), replication mechanism (Asynchronous, semi-asynchronous).
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Experience in DB Cloning, DB migration, DB Upgrade, patch management and movement.
Experience in data modelling, logical and physical DB design
Develop SQL scripts, including queries, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Monitor database for performance issues and identity SQL statements and tune them.
PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
Interacting with Product engineering teams for DB/script related issues.
Excellent knowledge on data migration including data pump.
Assist developers in Query/Performance/Database tuning.
Account Creation ( user / schema )
Perform Data Migration ( huge data migration / multiple tables )
Performance Tuning of DB Table Space etc.
