MV ART DIRECTOR We are looking for a seasoned Art Director to work directly with the Creative Director in bringing the look and feel of a mass multiplayer Metaverse, based in a photo real aesthetic, to life. The individual will oversee and lead the art team for lands and mini games while meeting the needs and requirements from the company investors to the best of their ability. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Producer to provide an art task list and timeline for all necessary areas during the planning, build, launch and updates processes.
  • Establish artistic vision for products across a mass multiplayer Metaverse including mini games.
  • Collaborate closely with the Concept Designer on each individual area and help make high level creative team decisions while keeping daily communication flowing to both the Creative Director and Producer.
  • Create art concepts and designs across several products inside of the MV.
  • Collaborate with Character and Game Designer to ensure creative needs are met for a high quality 3d visual, including NPC interactions.
  • Collaborate with level designer to translate game design concepts into a clear mock up and roadmap for the environment artist.
  • Collaborate with technical artists and developers to ensure artistic goals are in line with technical limitations.
  • Iterate on level designs based on feedback from design and testing teams.
  • Develop and validate QA protocols for artwork, including reviewing and approvals of all artists work.
  • Manage direct reports within the Art department and mentor junior staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of five (5) years of digital art experience and (3) years of management experience.
  • Previous experience having shipped 2 or more games as an Art Director.
  • Excellent graphic design skill in 3D art production with a particular focus on photorealism.
  • Proven experience in Unreal Engine 5+ and its various tools and features.
  • Proven proficiency with commercial 2D/3D art production software (Eg: Photoshop, Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer etc)
  • Solid understanding of level design principles, gameplay mechanics and player interactions.
  • The ability to pivot and iterate upon design concepts quickly.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: \xe2\x82\xb91,500,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb92,500,000.00 per year Schedule:
  • Day shift
