Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our dynamic team at Euro International School, a CBSE-affiliated institution. The ideal candidate will foster a love for music in students, teach both theoretical and practical aspects of music, and contribute to the school's co-curricular programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
• Deliver music lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for various grades.
• Teach vocal and instrumental music, incorporating Indian classical, Western, and contemporary styles.
• Prepare students for interschool and board-level music assessments.
• Program Development:
• Plan and execute music-related activities, including annual day programs, assemblies, and competitions.
• Encourage participation in music festivals, talent shows, and external music competitions.
• Skill Building:
• Develop students' abilities in vocal techniques, rhythm, and musical composition.
• Identify and nurture individual musical talents among students.
• Classroom Management:
• Create an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
• Manage and maintain music instruments and resources effectively.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other teachers and departments to integrate music into interdisciplinary activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Other Duties:
• Organize and supervise music clubs or groups.
• Ensure adherence to the school's policies and ethos while conducting activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Music or equivalent certification in vocal or instrumental music.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or reputed school (preferred).
• Proficiency in playing musical instruments like keyboard, guitar, tabla, or harmonium.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in music.

Employment Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, regular school timings.
• Compensation: As per industry standards and experience.
