We are accepting applications for passionate and experienced Indian Classical Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of classical music, with expertise in both vocal singing and playing the harmonium . With a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience , the candidate should possess the ability to inspire and mentor students of varying ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities :

• Teach Indian classical vocal music and harmonium playing to students in group and one-on-one settings.
• Develop customized lesson plans to cater to the learning pace and goals of individual students.
• Prepare students for performances, examinations, and competitions.
• Introduce and explain the nuances of ragas, talas, and classical compositions.
• Maintain an engaging and motivating classroom environment to foster students' passion for music.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence.
• Stay updated with trends and developments in Indian classical music to enhance teaching methodologies.

Required Qualifications :

• Proficient in Indian classical singing and harmonium playing , with a strong theoretical and practical foundation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Indian classical music to students.
• Ability to teach students of diverse age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex musical concepts clearly.
• A degree or certification in Indian classical music is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates.
• Passion for teaching and sharing the rich tradition of Indian classical music.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with semi-classical and light music forms such as Bhajans, Ghazals, and Folk music.
• Ability to accompany students on the harmonium during performances.
• Experience preparing students for formal certifications or competitions in Indian classical music.

Pay: ?10,362.22 - ?29,708.81 per month
