Multi-Skill Technician (Electrician)

Department: Maintenance / Facilities

Location: The Shri Ram Universal School, Nanakramguda, Financial District - Hyderabad

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Manager

Job Summary:-

1. The MST (Electrician) handles PPM and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, AC units,

2. Plumbing, and general facility repairs. The role includes managing sound system setups for events. The technician must exhibit technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

A] Electrical Maintenance:

1. Perform PPM on panels, transformers, DBs, pumps, switches, sockets, and starters as per schedule.

2. Monitor and troubleshoot transformers, electrical panels, and pumps.

3. Conduct wiring repairs and resolve power outages.

B] AC Maintenance:

Monitor and resolve AC issues like cooling failures or abnormal noises.

C] Plumbing Maintenance:

Attend and resolve washroom issues (leaks, blockages, pressure problems).

D] Carpentry & General Maintenance:

1. Address maintenance complaints.

2. Perform minor carpentry (adjust chairs, tables, doors, cupboards).

E] Sound System Management:

1. Arrange, set up, and dismantle sound systems for events (outdoor and indoor).

2. Ensure proper functioning of microphones, speakers, and amplifiers.

3. Conduct routine sound system maintenance.

F] Record Keeping & Safety:

1. Maintain records of PPM, repairs, and event support.

2. Follow safety standards and report hazards to the supervisor.

G] Qualifications & Skills:

1. Education: ITI Electrician (Mandatory)

2. License: Valid Wireman License (Mandatory)

3. Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role, preferably in an educational facility.

4. Technical: Proficiency with electrical, AC, plumbing, carpentry, and audio systems.

5. Safety: Strong knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage.

H] Work Environment:

1. Shift-based work (including weekends/holidays if required).

2. Adherence to safety protocols with PPE.

3. Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards.

NOTE: Locally based candidates from Hyderabad City will be preferred for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
