Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Engineer specializing in process automation to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing the reliability and performance of EcoStruxure Process Expert/Library Software (EPE) . This role involves the Testing of EPE Software or any other related software\'s and maintaining the Quality of software which align to the customer needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Define the scope, objectives, Test plan and responsibilities of the validation activities.
• Identify critical systems and components to be validated.
• Detail the Customer Architecture and settings for the software testing
• Test each functional aspect of the system to ensure it operates according to the specifications.
• Verify that all hardware components are installed correctly and as per specifications.
• Check the physical installation, wiring, and labeling of components.
• Establish timelines and resource requirements.
• Verify that all system components work together as intended.
• Test communication between hardware, software, and network components through industrial protocols like Modbus, profibus, RS-485 and Foundation Field bus etc.
• Include descriptions of control strategies, alarms, and interlocks.
• Include tests for control loops, interlocks, alarms, and user interfaces.
• Compile all validation results and documentation into a comprehensive validation report
• Conduct a risk assessment to identify potential risks and their impact on the system.
• Test the system under normal operating conditions to ensure it performs reliably and consistently.
• Include stress testing and load testing to evaluate system performance under peak conditions.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Review and approve installation/user guides/release notes documentation.
• Ensure all installation steps are documented and deviations are recorded.

QualificationsQualification:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics & Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in validation engineering within the process automation industry.
• The candidate should have experience working in process Domains such the cement, steel, power ond pharmaceutical industries, along with some hands-on commissioning experience.
• Experience with process control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA). Good Knowledge and hands on Experience on the software like control expert, AVEVA plant SCADA, Wonder ware or any other automation software\'s from ABB, Honeywell, Rockwell or Simens etc
• The candidate should be well-versed in the various segments offered by the library, such as the MMM segment, WWW segment, and cement segment. This includes understanding the specific features, applications, and benefits associated with each segment to effectively utilize and integrate them within their respective projects or research initiatives.
• Candidate must have atleast one Industrial Software Testing Certification, such as the ISTQB, to ensure they possess the essential skills and knowledge required for rigorous software testing practices in the industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
