Multi Skill Attendant (MSA) / Peon

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Administrative Officer

Job Summary:

As a Multi Skill Attendant (MSA) / Peon at Srusti Academy of Management, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of administrative and operational activities within the institution. This role requires a versatile individual who can perform a variety of tasks ranging from office maintenance and housekeeping to providing assistance across different departments as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of office premises, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas.

Support Services: Assist in setting up venues for meetings, seminars, workshops, and other events. Arrange furniture and equipment as per requirements.

Courier and Mail Handling: Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages. Arrange for outgoing mail and courier services.

Document Management: Assist in photocopying, scanning, and filing documents as instructed by administrative staff.

Errands and Supplies: Run errands such as purchasing office supplies, stationery, and other necessary items.

Guest Assistance: Welcome guests and visitors courteously. Escort them to designated areas or inform relevant personnel.

Basic Repairs: Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing furniture).

Security Assistance: Support security personnel by monitoring premises and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents.

Assistance to Staff: Provide assistance to administrative and academic staff as needed, including carrying documents or materials.

Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with institutional policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 10th Passed.

Proven experience as a multi skill attendant, peon, or similar role would be advantageous.

Basic understanding of office procedures and equipment.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve lifting and moving objects.

Good communication skills and a customer service orientation.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Integrity and reliability in handling sensitive information and tasks.
