Summary: What you need to know about the role- As a lead member of our team, you will work with Designers, Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads building new experiences and improving existing products, developing robust software solutions and dependable products for PayPal\'s merchants and consumer. You\'ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Meet our team : Our P2P team is responsible for triggering various initiatives for PayPal across worldwide with focus on agility, time to market and innovation. This team helps to roll out new features around PayPal\'s various customer retention, conversion initiatives across the world to bring more people not only on PayPal\'s ecosystem but also to increase customer engagement and has embarked upon some new and exciting opportunities. As a member of this team, you\'ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers and Engineers (3-in-a-box model) to create innovative solutions for our customers. & you\'ll play an important role in product development from concept to launch. : Your way to impact : As a full stack web engineer in P2 P team, you will be working with various feature domain and external partners in creating the next generation consumer payment experiences and building world class payments and money management integration solutions. What do you need to bring- 7+ years professional software development experience. Knowledge and experience in building scalable Node.js applications. Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember etc. Experience with build tools such as webpack, grunt, gulp, babel etc. Experience with test frameworks: Mocha, Jest, Nightwatch etc. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and responsive design Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design etc. Organized, able to act independently, able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
