Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Scientist with a Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to support environmental sustainability and compliance efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on environmental issues, including pollution, climate change, and natural resource management. Analyze data using statistical tools and techniques.
• Environmental Impact Assessments: Perform assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of proposed projects and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
• Project Management: Manage environmental projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; oversee implementation and ensure objectives are met.
• Data Management: Collect, manage, and interpret environmental data. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytical tools.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and external stakeholders. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Education and Training: Provide training and guidance on environmental practices and sustainability initiatives to staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in environmental research, assessment, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and GIS tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification or additional training in environmental management or sustainability.
• Experience with grant writing and project funding.
• Knowledge of climate change models and environmental policy.

Work Environment:

• This role may require fieldwork, including site visits and environmental monitoring.
• Occasional travel may be required for project implementation and stakeholder meetings.
• Standard office environment with a mix of remote and on-site work.
