Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Server DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 - 8 years of experience in database administration, with strong expertise in MS SQL Server. This role involves supporting both production and development databases, managing multi-terabyte databases, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) configurations. The candidate will be responsible for database performance optimization, backup and recovery processes, and handling client escalations. Excellent communication and team management skills are essential for this role.
: + Should be able to work in a 24x7 support environment and provide support for Critical production systems.
+ Provide day to day support of high OLTP HA of SQL Server databases- Identify root causes of production problems and resolve such problems.
+ Must have good knowledge of installation and up-gradations.
+ Strong knowledge in Configuring High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions.
+ Configure replication topologies.
+ Setup Maintenance plans for Backups, Database integrity check, rebuild index and Update statistics and make sure to run all the jobs without any issues.
+ Troubleshoot locking issues, including deadlocks, blocking, lock timeouts and fix them.
+ Execute all changes of database schema and maintain controlled development database environment.
+ Good knowledge in physical database design concepts.
+ Hands on experience with Always On.
+ Hands on experience with replication.
+ Excellent team management skills.
+ Managing client escalations and communications.

Job Requirements : + 4 - 8 years of experience in SQL Server in a production environment.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or higher.
Timeline: Immediate joiner preferred or within 30 days
