• Collaborate with system administrators and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal server configurations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability, as well as contributing to database development efforts.

Job Responsibilities:
Database Administration:


Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database systems.


Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query execution.


Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.


Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including patching and upgrades.


Manage database security, user access, and permissions.


Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical databases.


Generate performance and utilization reports for management.


Database Development:


Design and develop database schemas, tables, and stored procedures.


Optimize SQL queries for better performance.


Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement database solutions.


Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in database development.


Troubleshoot and resolve database-related development issues.


Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration.


Technical Skills:


Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration (versions 2016 and later).


Solid experience in SQL query optimization and development.


Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.


Familiarity with database security and compliance standards.


Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).


Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.


Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, clustering).
