  • To ensure that travel arrangements for Pan India HSBC staff is being handled end to end in a smooth manner.
  • Assist in existing vendor/supplier performance evaluation as part of Vendor Management
  • Accurate and timely reconciliation and payment of vendor invoices.
  • Align with the organizational goals and try to contribute to reduction in travel & costs
  • To adhere to HSBC internal control standards and policies, including regular update of policies.
  • Ability to independently act in line with Policy guidelines.
  • Show initiative in improved communications with customers with a view to improve service quality.
  • All customer feedback (both complaints and compliments) is considered with appropriate actions taken to address any issues. Trends are identified and addressed where necessary.
  • Establish and meet challenging SLA parameters for all travel services provided to HDPI internal customers and report performance against these measures monthly.
  • Monitor trends in the travel industry and take adequate steps to meet expectations of the travellers during adverse conditions, peak conditions and any other external factors affecting travel. Maintain MI and reports
  • To maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators for the Travel function.
  • To work on process improvements to provide best in class service standards.
  • Co-ordination with other departments like Finance, Accounts Payable etc. for better operational efficiency.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good command on MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of travel industry and corporate travel is essential.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Must have an attitude to get tasks done.
  • Excellent inter personal skills.
  • Constantly striving to meet all SLAs.
  • Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Previous experience in similar role in must.
