Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Basic Computer Trainer with expertise in MS Office and Advanced Excel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and guiding individuals or groups in mastering fundamental computer skills, focusing on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced Excel functions. The trainer will ensure that learners gain the necessary skills to perform tasks efficiently in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct training sessions for individuals or groups in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive).
• Design and develop training materials, presentations, and exercises to help learners understand essential and advanced concepts.
• Deliver practical, hands-on training for MS Excel, covering both basic and advanced functions, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, macros, and more.
• Assess learners' progress through quizzes, assignments, and hands-on exercises.
• Provide one-on-one or group support to trainees for addressing questions and troubleshooting issues.
• Keep up to date with the latest MS Office updates and tools to ensure training content is current and relevant.
• Track attendance, performance, and provide feedback to learners.
• Customize training sessions based on the unique needs of different learners or organizations.
• Promote a positive and interactive learning environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in teaching or training individuals in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, and Data Analysis.
• good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to break down complex topics into easily understandable segments.
• Patience and dedication to helping learners succeed.
• Experience with different teaching methods, both in-person and online.
• Certification in Microsoft Office or equivalent is a plus.
• Previous experience in corporate training or educational settings is preferred.
