Overview In support of having a high performing lean procurement team, this person is the Single Point of Global Business Service (GBS) Contact for Make across HBS, MBS and CBS tower activities bridging Regional/Local Procurement agenda (focus on strategy, stakeholder connection and transformation) and timelines with Make GBS agenda (focus on seamless execution of RFx, Insights, Reporting, Contracting and Supplier Mgt) and vice versa. Collaborate and partner closely with Regional/Local Procurement Make Management team and GBS Tower leads ensuring year on year productivity delivery of 5%+ savings and continuity of service to sites. Step in to lead new, more complex GBS activities. Find ways to optimize and unlock smooth, best in class collaborative working model. Responsibilities Contribute actively to achievement of overall Business and Procurement objectives Deliver 5%+ YoY productivity for spend in scope, contract compliance and continuity of service to end customers Be single point of contact as Global Business Service (GBS) leader for MAKE to ensure high quality support as a pro-active service provider across Make categories: Energy, Facilities Management and MRO for English (across RFx, Contracting, Insights, Reporting, Supplier management) and all Tactical Buy requirements. Work closely with GBS hubs with Make Category Managers and regional Managers to ensure deep understanding of requirements and phasing of support request to build a solid execution plan. As part of responsibilities, he/she will lead E2E certain pre-defined \'simple\' subcategories (tbc) through full seven step sourcing process Drive continuous improvement culture to optimize and unlock smooth, best in class collaborative working model Coordinate and ensure all GBS reporting include regional procurement overview (as well non GBS covered BU\'s) Contribute to collaborative working model and \'one team approach\' through open communication, credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, regional procurement community and suppliers. Continuously delivering against stretched short term objectives (going beyond should be the motto) Comply with regional/local procurement Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls. Develop and share best practices and learning and celebrate success. Continuously delivering against stretched short term objectives Act as force of proposal Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree Strong background in Procurement (9-11 years), preferably within FMCG environment and with proven track record in manufacturing procurement including sourcing and contracting processes and/or outsourcing initiatives. Overall excellent knowledge of procurement processes and category sourcing approaches in best-in-class procurement organizations and ability to implement them in complex environment. Proven leadership record of accomplishment. Good business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals, and excellent analytical and computer/systems skills. Strong internal customer management skills: capacity to listen, understand and capture internal clients\' needs and deliver appropriate solutions. Strong collaboration skills and ability to perform in virtual & matrix organizations. Analytical thinking and setting the agenda. Ability to influence others. Ability to work in matrix organizations/ Strong in collaboration.
