Job Title: MRO HeadLocation: Ahmedabad, GujratRoles and Responsibility:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes
• Oversee the entire MRO operation, ensuring efficient and timely execution of maintenance tasks
• Implement best practices to enhance the reliability and performance of engines and related systems
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new product introduction and design changes
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Lead and mentor a team of MRO professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to optimize cost and quality
• Drive initiatives to reduce turnaround time, increase productivity, and minimize downtime
• Prepare and manage the MRO budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality
• Regularly assess and report on MRO performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions

Skills AND Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Master\'s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (MBA) preferred

Certification required

• Professional certifications in MRO management and/or related fields
• Additional certifications in quality management and safety protocols are advantageous

• Knowledge of aviation and aerospace quality management systems

Non-Negotiable Skills

• Experience in engine maintenance

• Regulatory compliance expertise

Experience

• 15-20 years of experience in Defence and Aerospace industry
• Proven track record in engine maintenance
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing MRO operations
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control
