1. Designing and developing Moulds, dies, and tools for manufacturing processes.
2. Creating 2D and 3D designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
3. Collaborating with engineers, manufacturers, and customers.
4. Ensuring Mould designs meet specifications, quality, and safety standards.
5. Troubleshooting design and production issues.
6. Preparing and revising design documentation and reports.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
2. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA).
3. Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work precisely.
6. Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
For Plastics Industry:
1. Material selection (thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers).
2. Understanding plastic flow, shrinkage, and warpage.
3. Designing for injection moulding, blow moulding, or extrusion.
4. Considerations for plastic part durability and structural integrity.
