• Identifying and analyzing organization\'s strengths and weaknesses, and leading projects with business partners to support growth in Asia-Pacific region.
• Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of staff (service engineers, sales support) engaged in supporting, promoting and selling Moto graders and related services; overseeing the resolution of customer complaints.
• Developing and managing strategies to optimize costs and maximize prime and aftermarket sales in region

Skill Descriptors

• Customer Focus: understanding of customer drivers and economics in one or more Asia Pacific regions
• Industry and product knowledge: understanding of Moto grader industry, trends, Caterpillar and dealer organizations.
• Experience with and understanding of several aspects of the broader value chain: suppliers, manufacturing, design, logistics, marketing, sales, aftermarket, product support and distribution
• Project management: set up project teams, identification of root causes, development of corrective actions, stakeholder involvement, strong governance discipline

Leadership skills:

• Intellectual curiosity and entrepreneur mindset
• Definition of winning, vision setting for the moto grader business in the region, execution towards vision
• People development
• Decision making and autonomous work
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

Required experience:

• At least 15 years of relevant work experience
• Caterpillar or dealer technical/commercial field experience or equivalent for earthmoving product and/or services
• Product design, manufacturing and/or management experience with earthmoving products
• Knowledge of one or more of the key Asia Pacific markets
• Leadership experience or demonstrated team lead capabilities
