Dock Production is on the lookout for a talented Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team in Ernakulam. This role is essential in bringing our visual storytelling to life through compelling video content and dynamic motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring high-quality output for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets the vision and objectives.

Motion Graphics Design:

Create engaging motion graphics and animations to enhance video content, using tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and others.

Develop title sequences, lower thirds, and other graphic elements to improve storytelling and visual appeal.

Content Creation:

Work on a variety of projects, including promotional videos, corporate presentations, social media content, and more.

Adapt and repurpose existing content into new formats to maximize reach and engagement.

Collaboration:

Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.

Provide input on script and storyboard development to enhance video production quality.

Feedback and Revisions:

Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine edits and ensure final products align with expectations.

Maintain a positive and open attitude towards constructive criticism.

Staying Updated:

Keep up with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve skills and stay ahead in video editing and motion graphics design.

Requirements:

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects.

Strong understanding of video production processes, storytelling techniques, and motion graphics principles.

Familiarity with sound design and basic color grading is a plus.
