Position Summary:

We are seeking a

Mother Teacher

for

Grade 4 and 5

to take charge of all aspects of classroom management, academic instruction, and personal development for students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, student-friendly, and capable of creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment. The Mother Teacher will be responsible for providing continuous guidance and mentorship while managing both academic and personal growth of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and manage

Grade 4 and 5

students across subjects as per the school curriculum. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities to promote student engagement and comprehension. Track and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular assessments. Organize and supervise student activities that encourage personal and social development. Be the primary point of contact for parents regarding student academic progress and personal development. Provide emotional and academic support to students, ensuring their well-being both inside and outside the classroom. Organize extracurricular activities, including field trips and co-curricular events, that enhance the learning experience. Maintain a positive, disciplined, and respectful classroom environment that fosters student growth. Supervise dormitory or other residential responsibilities as per the school's schedule.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree

in Education or a related field. Prior teaching experience in

Grade 4 and 5

in a CBSE school setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for working with children. Empathetic, student-friendly, and committed to the academic and personal development of students. Good communication skills and ability to engage effectively with both students and parents. Prior experience in a

residential school

is an added advantage.
