Job Description

The System Monitoring Officer is responsible for the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure their reliability, performance, and security. This role involves using monitoring tools to track system performance, identify issues, and respond to incidents promptly. The System Monitoring Officer will work closely with IT teams to ensure that systems are functioning smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze system performance data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Recommend and implement changes to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Maintenance and Updates:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and backups.
• Ensure that system updates are applied in a controlled and efficient manner, with minimal impact on operations.

Security and Compliance:

• Monitor systems for security breaches or vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
• Implement and adhere to security best practices and protocols.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to system monitoring and management.
• Suggest and implement improvements to monitoring processes and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,987.23 - ?24,555.60 per month
