Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MongoDB Administrator with at least 3 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing MongoDB databases, ensuring their high availability, performance, security, and scalability (On prem , AWS, Azure). As a MongoDB Admin, you will work closely with Infra/devops and operations teams to maintain database environments, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement best practices.



Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, including replica sets and sharding.
• Proficiency in MongoDB performance tuning, backup strategies, and query optimization.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or custom scripts for managing MongoDB clusters.
• Good understanding of database security practices and implementation.


Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing MongoDB in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as MongoDB Ops Manager, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or equivalent).


Soft Skills:• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing MongoDB clusters in a production environment.
• Knowledge of other NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Couchbase is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
