Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Modular Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing functional, aesthetic, and innovative kitchen spaces, tailored to the needs and preferences of clients. This role requires a strong understanding of space planning, material selection, color schemes, and technical details involved in modular kitchen setups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Kitchen Layouts : Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and space constraints to create innovative and practical modular kitchen designs.
• Space Planning : Optimize kitchen space to ensure functionality, comfort, and aesthetic appeal.
• Client Interaction : Conduct client meetings, understand requirements, provide expert advice, and propose kitchen designs that match their lifestyle and preferences.
• Material Selection : Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and appliances according to client budget, preferences, and durability.
• 3D Renderings : Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software or specialized kitchen design software for visualization.
• Site Visits : Conduct site visits to ensure design execution aligns with plans, handle any discrepancies, and suggest changes as needed.
• Vendor Coordination : Liaise with contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and accurate installation.
• Cost Estimation : Provide accurate cost estimates for the kitchen design, materials, and labor based on client preferences and choices.
• Quality Control : Monitor the installation process, ensuring the project adheres to the design, budget, and timeline.
• Stay Updated : Keep up with the latest trends in kitchen designs, materials, and technologies in modular kitchens.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualification : Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience : 2+ years of experience in modular kitchen designing or related interior design projects.
• Software Proficiency : Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or specialized kitchen design software like KCD, 20-20 Design, or similar.
• Knowledge of Materials : In-depth knowledge of materials like wood, laminates, acrylic, PVC, and hardware fittings used in kitchen designs.
• Creativity : Ability to design functional, aesthetically pleasing, and space-optimized kitchen layouts.
• Client Management : Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to handle client interactions effectively.
• Attention to Detail : Strong focus on details to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and align with client expectations.
• Problem Solving : Ability to manage on-site issues and make quick decisions when challenges arise.
• Time Management : Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the interior or furniture industry with a focus on kitchen design.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics as related to kitchen installations.
