Modeling & Simulation Industry Process Specialist

SIMULIA has an opening for an Modeling & Simulation Industry process specialist for the Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail (CPG-R) Industry. You would get an excellent opportunity to work with the Industry-leading simulation tools and learn from SMEs in this area. You will work with leading packaging manufacturers and OEMs worldwide that are esteemed customers of Dassault Systemes for creating sustainable packaging solutions. You should be able to leverage your technical skills to get Industry knowledge and hands-on work experience by working on Industry-scale problems. The knowledge of Industry-oriented simulation and skills in structural FEA, Multiphysics simulation, simulation data management, DOE & Optimization are highly sought after and will benefit your engineering career.


Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop next-gen engineering methodologies for realistic simulation of rigid and flexible packaging using SIMULIA applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform


• Develop innovative technical solutions for packaging manufacturing, conveying, storage and transportation, addressing challenging problems to enhance packaging development.


• Use of all of SIMULIA's software tools such as ABAQUS, Fe-Safe, Tosca and Applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to develop and support workflows


• Innovate to create new solutions for lightweighting and sustainable packaging.


• Create new simulation methodologies and material models that are useful in CPG-R applications
• Drive customers to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging the Industry processes on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform


• Collaborate with the stakeholders including the DS internal ecosystem


• Validate the latest features in SIMULIA's structural analysis software
Qualification:
------------------


• Masters in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Engineering or equivalent


• 3-8 years of experience in Structures simulation with expert knowledge
• In-depth knowledge on Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Modeling and Numerical Methods


• Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience on ABAQUS for Structures simulation
• Hands on experience with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa is required


• Experience and knowledge of existing methodologies in modeling and simulation on packaging
• Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience with solvers like LS-DYNA, PAMCRASH, Nastran is a plus
• Hands on experience with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks is a big plus


• Hands on skills in basic programming (Python, VB) is a big plus


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues
