Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance as a consultant to projects and model development. Requires experience with model risk and model monitoring standards. Works independently, with some guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.MAJOR DUTIES

EXPERIENCE

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• A bachelors degree in a designated STEM field (engineering, computer science, quantitative finance).
• 5+ years experience in a risk management role at a large financial institution, preferably an Asset Manager.
• Experience with MRM governance.
• Strong statistical background and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of control design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Strong writing, oral communication, and presentation skills are mandatory.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations such as SR 11-7, SR 15-18/19, SS1/23, and Basel Final rules is preferred.
