Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tester with 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, ensuring the highest quality of mobile applications.

They should be well-versed in mobile testing frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test cases for Android and iOS applications. Perform functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing on mobile apps. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and test mobile applications effectively. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, Espresso (Android), and XCUITest (iOS). Ensure compatibility across various devices, screen sizes, and OS versions. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing. Stay updated with the latest mobile testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing (Android & iOS). Strong knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.). Experience with manual and automation testing methodologies. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Good understanding of mobile UI/UX guidelines and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools. Knowledge of mobile security testing practices. Experience in working with databases (SQL, Firebase, etc.). Understanding of accessibility testing.
