We're looking for a Mobile App Software Engineer to join our OEM R&D team in Bangalore . You will be working alongside with other software engineers on next generation mobile apps for the Philips MasterConnect system. This system enables customers to create connected lighting installations that are simple and scalable, more sustainable due to significant energy savings, and with no hassle during installation and commissioning.

As the Mobile App Software Engineer , you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the MasterConnect mobile apps. You have working experience in mobile app software development and engineering principles. You are proficient in programming languages.

What you'll do

• Work with System Architect, Product Owner and Architect to understand customer requirements.
• Design , implement and Unit Test of new features in our mobile apps
• Peer review d esign and implementation
• Actively contribute in Agile team process

What you'll need

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Science, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience in product development as Mobile App Developer
• Experience in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Swift, and JavaScript. Experience in cross-platform development framework Flutter is an advantage.
• Understanding of native iOS and Android APIs to access device-specific features like BLE , NFC and storage
• Working experience with Bitbucket and Jira
