Introduction: As a Designer, you\'ll be responsible for creating and optimizing the overall solution for use cases and applications within the ML platform. Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Enterprise Architects and broadly colleagues within community to coordinate strategies and to develop new Analytics/ AI/ ML solutions that fit for purpose. The role would also involve formulating and conducting extensive analytical exercises in order to improve existing business strategies and policies What we required Ability to explain complicated concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, influencing stakeholders on recommended actions. Act as technical liaison and actively engage with business stakeholders, development/ engineering teams and other shared services like Architecture and Governance teams Experience in Requirement Engineering, Solution Architecture, Development and Deployment of IT solution in Big Data/Business Intelligence and Analytics/ Machine Learning Experience of Statistical analysis techniques, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence methods desirable Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and good understanding of distributed computing paradigms (Clustering/Distributed Computing, Storage, Data Centre Networking) Acquiring knowledge of relevant data analytics and AI/ ML technologies and demonstrate benefits by doing POCs where necessary Experience in building analytical tools to generate insightful analysis to drive recommendations, identify patterns, relationships and problems to help the bank improve their business. Experience in handling high volume and real time streaming datasets with cloud based tools such as AWS, GCP Detail oriented and proven ability to understand business and non-functional requirements and transform into fully functional technical solution Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Understanding of Micro Services Application Architecture Understanding of K8s/Docker concepts. What we\'re looking for: Graduate with preferred specialisation in IT, Mathematics with relevant work experience or satisfying the relevant skills (above). Relevant work experience in some or all of the skills below Technical skills Expert understanding of one or more of the following technologies - SQL, Python, Spark, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Power BI/Tableau (or equivalents). Proven ability to identify and learn emerging data analytics technologies and utilize them to deliver practical business solutions. Knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks, libraries, data modelling and software architecture Solution Architecture/Design mindset Advanced working knowledge of big data technologies like PySpark, hive, MLiB & Hadoop echo system Advance knowledge of full Hadoop/Spark, ETL, Data modelling, ApaaS skills Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. End-to-end software development lifecycle and methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile). Should be well versed with solution and framework design for interfaces for complex program involving multiple components Should be able to estimate the platform level requirement and solution based on the program complexities for an optimized execution Practicing knowledge of AWS components relevant to Data Science and Engineering Soft Skills Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and convert abstract ideas into actionable requirements Ability to work with ambiguous situations and uncertainty Out of the box thinking to solve real world problems Should be able to juggle between multiple priorities efficiently Ability to encourage and inspire team to help realise their potential, providing knowledge and guidance to all team members as required. Work collaboratively with teams across different geographic locations and contribute to Machine Learning capability. Good presentation skills - Should be able to present findings and insights in a manner understandable to business. Skills that will help you in the role: Graduate with preferred specialisation in IT Exposure to Banking and Finance domains, as well as technology within banking/finance. Awareness of management information tools and systems.
