Job Description

Responsibilities:

? Make and serve specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and other drinks

? Speak and interact with both new and regular customers, Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.

? Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.

? Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food & beverage quality.

? Excellent mixologist.

? Follow health and safety guidelines

? Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items

? Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance

? Contribute to a positive team environment

? Actively participate in the ongoing development of the outlet, including ensuring the consistent delivery of the organization's core values and operational standards, and overseeing the health, safety and security of both guests and employees.

? Maintain a working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, all statutory requirements regarding all food and beverage operations, and that the conditions affecting the issues of such licenses are not jeopardized.

? Familiarize with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions guests may have

? Take beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the Team promptly and accurately

? Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times ? Implement and continually improve service standards.

? Effectively ensure maintenance of expected industry specific standards of appearance and hygiene of all team members (i.e. uniforms, grooming, etc.).

? Consistently demonstrate to guests and team members a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of the Values and Service Standards.

? Motivate and engage team members to consistently deliver the best possible service to guests at all times.

? Actively participate in departmental meetings and other team member meetings as required.

? Resolve guest concerns/issues efficiently and courteously to prevent a reoccurrence and ensure guest will become a repeat customer.

? Ensure appropriate Operational management coverage on weekends and holidays during his shift in the outlets to ensure consistently high levels of guest service are maintained. ? Morning, evenings and weekend work is required.

? All other duties as assigned that will assist and support the mandate of the Outlet and its ongoing success.

Duties:

? Setting up and organizing work area, including re-arranging of furniture, tables and chairs in preparation for delivery and cleared afterwards in readiness for next day's Operations.

? Taking responsibility during Special Events by overseeing & organizing the various sections within the Outlet to ensure the smooth operation planning and preparation of each event right through to delivery and closing.

? Being pro-active in assisting the Manager with the Operations team at busy periods and importantly in being 'hands on'.

? Continual awareness of the events diary on a daily basis and to escalate any issues or discrepancies requiring resolution to the management and taking charge in resolving it. ? Responsible for customer interaction to include communicating to relevant Outlet Team and resolving any complaints or conflicts.

? Assist the Manager in keeping a record of stock, and arrange effective ordering of new or additional items when required.

? Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures

? Prepare all back of house service points with regard to expected numbers of orders requirements as necessary

? Assist in the set up and preparation, and provide service duties for operations as required

? Assist the Team during Operations in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations ? Obtaining order requisition approval and co-ordination of ordering, dealing with invoice queries and maintaining open lines of communication with the Accounts Department ? Checking of any deliveries, including food, bar & beverage supplies or equipment and checking and handing over of delivery notes to the Accounts Department ? Make sure all crockery, cutlery, glassware, equipment, tools, furniture & fixture is in excellent condition, cleaned on a regular basis and replenished where necessary and stored away correctly and to keep system and stock levels sufficient.

? Check staff are carrying out their duties in the correct sequence during his shift required to be effective and efficient in readiness for any event by carrying out preparation procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?28,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
