Job Summary:

The MIS Executive (Warehouse) is responsible for managing and analyzing data related to warehouse operations. They ensure accurate and timely reporting, maintain inventory databases, and support operational efficiency by generating reports and insights that help in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management & Reporting

Collect, process, and analyze warehouse data related to inventory, stock movement, order processing, and logistics. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for warehouse operations. Maintain and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP software. Generate reports on stock reconciliation, order fulfillment, dispatch, and returns. Identify trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock levels and provide timely reports to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory. Assist in conducting periodic stock audits and cycle counts.

3. System & Process Optimization

Ensure smooth functioning of warehouse-related software and tools. Coordinate with IT teams to resolve system-related issues and optimize data management. Support automation initiatives and process improvements in warehouse operations.

4. Coordination & Support

Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and accounts teams for accurate reporting. Support warehouse managers with analytical insights for operational decision-making. Assist in compliance with warehouse safety and inventory management protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros preferred). Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination abilities. Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or warehouse operations. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce industries is preferred.
