Job Title: MIS Executive

Experience: 0-2 years in the similar role

The Role:

As a MIS Executive, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining legal databases, generating reports, and providing administrative support to our legal team. You will utilize your advanced Excel skills to analyze and organize legal data, create spreadsheets, and generate reports to support case management and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of legal processes.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain legal databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools using Excel.
• Import, export, and organize legal data, including case files, client information, and billing records.
• Create and format Excel spreadsheets to track case statuses, deadlines, and key milestones.
• Generate reports, charts, and graphs to visualize legal data and support case management and analysis.
• Perform data analysis and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of legal data.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including drafting correspondence, organizing files, and scheduling appointments.
• Assist in document preparation, formatting, and proofreading, as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data management practices.
• Stay updated on legal industry trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve data management processes.
• Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive legal information.

The Successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
• Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of legal terminology, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
