Key Responsibilities:
• Data Management and Reporting :
• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to generate reports and dashboards.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting regular audits and implementing data validation checks.
• Design and develop MIS reports as per business requirements and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
• System Maintenance and Support :
• Maintain and manage the company's MIS infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely support to users.
• Coordinate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation :
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Database Management :
• Oversee the creation, updating, and management of databases to store business information securely.
• Ensure database performance, security, and backup processes are in place and functioning correctly.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement :
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the MIS framework.
• Develop and implement best practices for data management and reporting.
• Train and support team members and other staff in using MIS tools and systems effectively.
Qualifications:
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience : 2-3 years of experience in MIS or a related role.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in database management and query languages such as SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM software.
• Analytical Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Communication Skills :
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present data and reports clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
