Job Title: MIS Executive

Location: Sarona, Ring Road No.1, Raipur
Department: MIS / IT / Operations
Reports to: MIS Manager / IT Manager / Operations Manager

Position Overview:

The MIS Executive is responsible for generating and managing management information systems and reports to support business operations. This role requires excellent data management, analytical, and reporting skills to provide accurate insights for decision-making. The MIS Executive will collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to prepare detailed reports and dashboards for different departments, enabling senior management to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management and Analysis:
• Collect, consolidate, and maintain data from different departments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Process data into actionable information to improve business processes and operations.
• Prepare data for reporting in different formats such as spreadsheets, databases, or visual dashboards.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Generate regular MIS reports , performance dashboards, and other business analysis reports for different teams (sales, finance, operations, etc.).
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated reporting tools and systems to ensure efficient and timely report generation.
• Develop and customize reports as per the specific needs of the department or management.
• Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as per business requirements.
• Reporting Systems Maintenance:
• Develop and maintain automated systems for real-time data processing and report generation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data reporting systems or data inconsistencies.
• Work with IT and operations teams to improve data collection methods and reporting tools.
• Data Quality Assurance:
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all sources.
• Perform data validation and ensure that data is cleaned and formatted properly for reporting.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken to maintain data quality.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Liaise with various department heads to understand reporting needs and deliver customized reports to meet those needs.
• Coordinate with the finance, sales, operations, and HR departments to understand data requirements and ensure they are met.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement KPI tracking systems that support strategic goals.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve reporting systems, processes, and templates to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting workflows.
• Forecasting and Projections:
• Support business forecasting by providing relevant historical data and insights.
• Analyze past performance data to assist management in projecting future trends and setting business goals.
• Ad-hoc Reporting:
• Prepare special reports and presentations for management, as requested.
• Assist in ad-hoc analysis projects, including providing support for business proposals, audits, and performance reviews.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an MIS or data analysis role, preferably in a corporate or operational environment.
• Familiarity with data management, reporting tools, and business intelligence software is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP, etc.) to create dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data integrity and data governance practices.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights from large data sets.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting data to stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex data analysis in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
