job Title: Senior Surveyor

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Surveyor to lead surveying efforts in our mining operations. The

candidate should have expertise in utilizing Total Stations and other surveying equipment to provide

accurate data for project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

? Perform precise land surveys to support mining operations, including but not limited to,

topographic, geological, and construction surveys.

? Utilize advanced surveying instruments, such as Total Stations, GPS, and laser scanners, to

collect and analyze data.

? Develop and implement effective survey strategies and methodologies tailored to specific

project needs.

? Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and geologists to integrate survey data into

project planning and execution.

? Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and documentation, ensuring compliance with

industry standards and regulations.

? Supervise and train junior surveyors and field crew, promoting a culture of safety and

accuracy.

? Conduct field inspections and maintain survey equipment to ensure operational readiness.

? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex surveying challenges.

? Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance surveying

processes.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

? At least [X years] of experience in surveying, with a focus on mining or heavy civil projects.

? In-depth knowledge of Total Station operations and data processing techniques.

? Proficient in using survey-related software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar

applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Professional Surveyor (PS) license or equivalent certification.

? Experience with GIS applications and remote sensing technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?50,000.00 per month
