Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced PPC (Production Planning and Control) professional with merchandising expertise to join our garment factory in Vapi. The role involves planning production schedules, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment manufacturing and a strong understanding of production workflows, material planning, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Control (PPC):
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on order requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion.
• Monitor production targets and identify bottlenecks to implement corrective actions.
• Manage material flow, ensuring raw materials and trims are available as per plan.
• Merchandising:
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity on order specifications.
• Prepare and share Time and Action (T&A) calendars to track order milestones.
• Oversee sample development and approvals, ensuring they meet client expectations.
• Source and coordinate with vendors for trims, fabrics, and other accessories.
• Order Management:
• Monitor order progress and maintain clear records for all projects.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Address client queries and ensure proactive communication regarding delivery timelines.
• Inventory and Resource Management:
• Track and manage fabric and accessory inventory levels.
• Plan and request procurement of raw materials to avoid shortages.
• Analyze resource utilization and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, delays, and risks.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Maintain detailed order files and documentation for audits and client references.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or related fields.
• 5-7 years of experience in PPC and merchandising in the garment industry.
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, T&A calendars, and quality control.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for production planning.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling export orders for garments.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical production practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
