Position Purpose

As a Site Reliability Engineer, will be Working within a team of like-minded professionals to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

As a SRE will be in charge of the following activities :

Provisioning of servers using Ansible / Terraform

Deployment of applications using Ansible

Implementation of Monitoring

Documentation

Troubleshooting

Contributing Responsibilities

Vulnerability remediation

Obsolescence remediation

Participate to Continuity activities (i.e Disaster recovery)

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science or computer engineering

At least 5+ years of experience in IT landscape

At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with WebSphere/Tomcat /Apache

At least 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes

At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible or terraform

At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google)

Mandatory

Strong background in Linux / Unix/ Windows Administration

Strong critical thinking

Good knowledge of onboarding & troubleshooting applications on Kubernetes

Good knowledge in any one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)

Good Knowledge in deployment automation tools (Ansible or equivalent)

Good Expertise on IBM WebSphere v8 or Tomcat v8.5 and Apache v2.4

Good Expertise on IBM sFTP,CFT or equivalent

Basic Experience in DB Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, Mongo DB)

Good to have

Knowledge on Job Scheduling Tools (Autosys or equivalent)

IBM MQ V7/V8 Administration

Kafka Administration

Monitoring and Centralized logs tools (Splunk/ Sysdig/ dynatrace..)
